Abruzzo is the perfect place for hang-gliding. The lovers of this fascinating sport have only to choose between the many sites available for take-off and landing. However, the best sites (those without air traffic) are Monte Morrone (on its west side) – Sulmona (AQ); Villa Santa Lucia (AQ); Monte Cappucciata; Gran Sasso; Monte La Selva (near Rocca Calascio, AQ).
